SHINJUKU:
- Tokyo Metropolitan Building Observatory. Entry is completely free. I found it a bit hard to find the entrance but there is a car park looking area just below the building. If you find it, there are signs in English pointing you to the observatory. If you have a fear of heights then do prepare beforehand as it is 45 floors upwardsKOREAN AREA:
- The area to the right of Shin-Okubu JR Station apparently has a huge Korean population so a lot of stalls, goods and restaurants are dedicated to Korean food.
- I found a 2D Cafe in the Korean area of ShinjukuOTHER:
- I didn't personally visit but I had a restaurant bookmarked in the area called 'Chop Life African Tokyo'
- There is also an Isetan branch located here (huge department store)
GHIBLI MUSEUM:
- Another popular location (located West of the main Tokyo areas)
- Tickets are very hard to get so I would recommend this being one of the first tickets you try to purchase as soon as you know that you're definitely going to Tokyo
☆TEAMLAB PLANETS:☆
- Same company as Teamlab Borderless but different exhibitions are featured
- As a heads up - you have to walk around barefoot (free lockers and towels provided)
- Located near the "rainbow bridge" (which didn't light up in rainbow colours when I went BUT that area by the river is stunning!!)
- Would also recommend going here if you're into immersive exhibitions. Both Teamlab Planets and Borderless are amazing places <3
- Tickets are available here: Teamlab Planets
TOKYO DISNEYLAND:
- Another extremely popular tourist attraction for self explanatory reasons
- It's location isn't far out which means it should be fairly convenient to travel to!!
SEA PARADISE :
- Located in Yokohama which is south of Tokyo
- I didn't get to visit myself as I only found out about this place towards the end of my trip but it looks really good
